Aylin has worked in the architecture and landscape design firms in Ankara, Turkey after graduation in 2006. She has participated in the landscape projects specifically related to design of hotel landscapes and public parks. She has experienced the field work by controlling landscape implications in the construction sites. When she had a chance to pursue her profession in the academic area she got her master’s degree from University of Colorado, Denver. She conducted the master study in a qualitative research aspect which is affiliated cultural landscape studies. Currently, she is fifth year Ph.D. student in Virginia Tech and doing research about cultural landscape in a broad sense.
