Robert Bentley Adams & Associates
405 South Washington Street
Alexandria, VA 22314

Part-Time Intern
15 Hours per Week Average, Hours Flexible
Immediate

Adams Architects is an established firm (30 years) in Old Town doing residential projects. Our principal, Mr. Bud Adams, needs an assistant for miscellaneous tasks involved in managing a business, from light design work (hand drafting) to office management related jobs including sorting and filing drawings. As hand drawings have become the exception, we are marketing and selling them as art work.

Much of our current focus is on renewing our office. Work could even include decorating-related tasks. Anyone with construction experience moves to the front of the line! When tasks are low, we have offered students the opportunity to study and even replicate drawings used for actual construction. Early art and architecture students learned the trade and crafts as copyists. Should there be a qualified architect with actual experience in production, the work could expand into actual client project tasks.

Our office is only blocks from the VA Tech Alexandria campus. Apply to Bud@adamsarchitects.com.
