Students Receive NSF REU Grant
Two Virginia Tech undergraduate architecture students, Kelly McCarthy and Sarah Spanski, were awarded a grant from the Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) program of the National Science Foundation (NSF) to study vibration serviceability of buildings. The principal investigator for the project is Prof. Mehdi Setareh. The project has received a total of $213,000 from the NSF to conduct research on various issues related to the problem.
