Second Year Studio Engagement Project with the Jefferson Center in Roanoke

The second year design studio worked with the Jefferson Center for the Arts, in Roanoke on a community engagement project for five weeks. Each student created a master to improve the center’s use of their grounds as well as explored opportunities to renovate the front lawn and entry stairs, plantings, and connections to the interior and exterior areas. Hill Studio, a landscape architecture firm in Roanoke provide support through professional review and design critique and hosted a reception at the final presentation held at the Jefferson Center.
