Landscape Architecture study featured in Virginia Tech Research Magazine
The Claytor Lake Scenery Assessment study has been featured in the Winter 2011 edition of Virginia Tech Research Magazine. Patrick Miller, Professor of Landscape Architecture, served as principal investigator for the two-part study, which involved an initial scenic assessment of Claytor Lake’s shoreline and viewshed, followed by an examination of the use of Google Earth’s three-dimensional interface as a dynamic and interactive management tool.
