Virginia Tech Olmsted Scholar – Undergraduate
The Landscape Architecture Foundation Olmsted Scholars Program recognizes and supports students with exceptional leadership potential who are using ideas, influence, communication, service, and leadership to advance sustainable design and foster human and societal benefits. As the VT LAR Program Undergraduate Olmsted Scholar, you will be nominated for the national award (national winners and finalists to be announced in May).

Stanley Abbot Award for Best Senior Project
Given to the student with the best completed senior project based upon the scope of the project, intellectual understanding of the project, articulation, and appropriateness of intention, and degree of formal and technical resolution.

The ASLA Excellence in Landscape Architecture Awards is intended to “recognize students who have achieved a sustained level of outstanding performance in their studies and show promise of making significant contributions to the profession” and have demonstrated “the highest level of academic scholarship and of accomplishments in skills related to the art and technology of landscape architecture.
