Interior Design Students Place First and Second in 2018 Bienenstock Interior Design Competition
Interior Design student Victoria Smith has been awarded first place in the Interior Design category in the 2018 Furniture and Interior Design Competition, sponsored by the Bernice Bienenstock Furniture Library. Victoria will receive a $5,000 scholarship to continue her studies in Interior Design. In addition to the scholarship, she has been given membership to the ASFD and ASID professional associations. Interior Design student Meredith Fraga was awarded second place in the Interior Design competition and will receive a $1,500 scholarship. Dr. Lisa Tucker served as the faculty advisor for both of the winning students.
The annual Bienenstock scholarship competitions are open to any junior, senior or graduate student enrolled in an accredited college program of furniture design or interior design. Since 1984, the Bienenstock Furniture Library has awarded more than $430,000 in scholarships to students in hundreds of colleges and universities.
