Bill Price Exhibits at 2008 Seoul Design Olympiad
At the first ever Seoul Design Olympiad, VT Architecture Alumnus Bill Price exhibited Air Dome, a structure made of inflated “ribs” of plastic that stretched 97 meters. Building upon the theme of the conference — “Design is Air” — Price constructed a pavilion that resembled both an igloo and a caterpillar. Price’s work can also be found in the city’s shopping district at the posh clothing store Mue. There a number of translucent highly textured walls glow. Price’s work has been published in Metropolis and Architectural Record.
