Architecture Students Present Award-Winning Projects at VEFP Conference
Architecture students in the third-year design lab taught by Profs. Mario Cortes and Elizabeth Grant presented their designs for a middle school to the Virginia Educational Facility Planners (VEFP) conference held in Richmond, Va. The event showcased the outcome of a six-week design competition held during the fall semester, sponsored by the VEFP, the state chapter of the Council of Educational Facility Planners, International. Presenters included first-place winner Thomas Doorn, second-place winner Rachel Montague, third-place winner Rachael Tomei, and honorable mention recipients Andrew Wallace and Alise Willis. Hannah Utter and Gregory Dalfonzo also presented their projects.
