Architecture student wins AIA competition
Keith Stricker (B.Arch. ‘11) has received an Undergraduate Award for Excellence in Design from the Maryland Society of the American Institute of Architects (AIAMD) in the fifth annual 2011 AIA Maryland Student Design Awards Competition. Strickler’s entry, “A Community Composed of Urban Spaces,” was judged by distinguished members of AIA Louisiana: Steve Dumez, FAIA, Judith Kinnard, FAIA, Kevin Morris, AIA, and Trula Remson, AIA. The award will be presented at the 2011 Annual Meeting and Design Awards gala on Thursday, September 15th. Strickler’s faculty sponsor was Prof. Michael Ermann.
