Architecture Graduate Students are on XCaliber Award Winning Team
Two Architecture graduate students, Jonathan Grinham (MS Arch, 2010) and Negar Kalantar Mehrjardi, an Architecture Ph.D. candidate, were members of a team that was awarded the 2011 XCaliber Award “for excellence as a group involved in technology-assisted teaching. The XCaliber Award at once celebrates and illustrates your innovative approaches to teaching in technology-enriched environments. We salute your efforts to integrate and use technology effectively to benefit student learning.”
The team will receive a commemorative plaque and cash award of $1,500 on August 21, 2011 at an Awards Ceremony held at The Inn at Virginia Tech and Skelton Conference Center.
Other members of the team were Dr. Ki-Hong Ku, an Assistant Professor in the Myers Lawson School of Construction, and Spencer Lee, a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Computer Science.
