Ali Bozorgi, Ph.D. Candidate, Wins “Green” Scholarship

Alireza (Ali) Bozorgi, a Ph.D. candidate in the Architecture and Design Research degree program, received this year’s scholarship from the Pension Real Estate Association (PREA) for his research on assessment of risk and uncertainty for “green” building valuation. This is one of most prestigious and competitive awards in the areas of real estate and building performance assessment. Recent winners have come from the Harvard Graduate School of Design, Harvard Business School, MIT Sloan School of Management, University of Pennsylvania School of Design, University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business, Stanford Graduate School of Business, and Columbia University Business School.

Additionally, Ali received the 2010 American Council for an Energy Efficiency Economy (ACEEE) Student Scholarship which supports presenters for attending the 2010 ACEEE conference in Pacific Grove, CA. Seven winners were selected among 177 applicants.
