Industrial Design 2nd Year Packing Design Project
Chantilly Farm, Floyd, VA
November 2019
Students from the second year Industrial Design lab displayed their work from a packaging project at Plenty!’s Chili Feast and Tour de Dirt charity ride. The students designed paper packaging for some of the produce and dry goods available at Plenty!’s food bank. IDS Faculty member, Martha Sullivan, was able to get feedback from those who work with the food bank and was able to decide one box design and bag design to work on mass reproducing.
Also as part of the Chili Feast, there were some ceramic dishes from the Virginia Tech Empty Bowls to use for the chili and to take home.
