A+D Rome Program Summer 2019 Exhibition

This exhibit presents the work and experiences of the 3-week-long A+D Rome Program during Summer 2019, led by Assistant Professor Joseph Bedford. The exhibition features sketches and films showcasing student experiences of exploring architectural history and theory in the eternal city. Students in the program explored the two-thousand-year history of architecture from the Ancient to the Early Christian, Medieval, Renaissance, Baroque, Romantic, Modern and Contemporary city as well as the recent half-century of architectural theory from Peter Eisenman and Robert Venturi to Peter Sloterdijk and Stan Allen.
