
Samer Bitar

Samer Bitar is a practicing architect in the District of Columbia and a LEED accredited professional. He holds a Bachelor of Design from the University of Florida and a Master of Architecture from Yale University.
His career as a commercial architect working on large scale transit projects, high-rise office towers, urban master plans, commercial office buildings and mixed-use developments has provided him with a broad range of expertise across many project types. He has taught as an adjunct instructor at Virginia Tech’s WAAC since 2010, and brings his range of professional experience to the classroom. Samer is also an expert in BIM technology and implementation and has prepared many students and practicing architects for professional success.
In addition to practicing architecture, he is also the owner of a full-service BIM consulting company with clients throughout the East Coast. He lives in Washington, DC with his wife and sons.
