Elif Tural is an Assistant Professor of Interior Design at Virginia Tech. She received her Ph.D. in Environmental Design and Planning from Arizona State University. Dr. Tural also holds a B.Arch. from METU, and an M.F.A. in Interior Architecture from Bilkent University in Turkey. She currently teaches the junior interior design studios and the lighting course. Her research interests include design factors for health and active living with a focus on senior residential environments and lighting design.
