Dan Snook teaches photography at the WAAC, is a project manager at a local architecture firm, and works as a commercial architectural photographer.
He received a Master of Architecture from the VT WAAC and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Washington State University. He has also studied at DIS in Copenhagen.
Dan is interested in how we perceive, understand, and know our environment, and how we can effectively communicate or reveal our knowledge to others. Photography, if done well, can be a powerful tool to capture and share our experience and understanding of space.
Dan is also a musician and plays multiple instruments with the WAAC Band and other groups in the DC area.
