Stephanie Burcham is a registered architect in the state of Virginia and a LEED Green Associate. She holds a master of architecture from Virginia Tech, and spent her thesis year developing An Elemental Study in Conservation: A Ceramic Artists’ Retreat on Virginia’s Rappahannock River at the WAAC. While at Virginia Tech, she participated in the Department of Energy’s Race to Zero student team design competition and received second place in the Elementary Schools category. She took advantage of the fine arts courses offered during her graduate education, developing a particular affinity for ceramics and photography, both skills she continues to develop. She studied analog photography in depth while at the WAAC and was recognized with an achievement award. Stephanie also holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Virginia, with honors.

Stephanie practices architecture full-time at Baskervill in Richmond, Virginia. She specializes in new build and renovation hospitality design.

Stephanie’s many interests include balcony gardening at her small apartment in Church Hill. She has 19 plants in 65 square feet. She inspired the neighbor below her to also start raising plants and together they share the edible plants and herbs with their community.
