until 28 February 2020, 5:00PM
— Cowgill Lobby
Opening remarks at 3pm – Sunday, February 23rd
Payette – located in a single office in Boston, and the 2019 AIA Firm of the Year recipient – will showcase their selective award-winning projects along with dozens of models of varying scales at the Cowgill lobby from 2/23 – 2/28.
As the only firm in the United States that has been awarded four COTE Top Ten Awards over the past four years, Payette will feature three of these recognized projects on the large display panels: the New Science Center at Amherst College, the Interdisciplinary Science & Engineering Complex at Northeastern University and the Milken Institute School of Public Health at George Washington University. The exhibition will also showcase other award-winning projects on large panels, with a model line-up across the Cowgill lobby. By revealing and sharing the ways in which spaces are designed from concept to execution, students can experience how their projects integrate nature and evolve from the synthesis of taming complex programs and problems while demanding high-performance – resulting in beautiful buildings that perform beautifully.
Enjoy a fully immersive experience and indulge in reading and exploring the design process of iteration, craft and how Payette thinks about architecture through drawings, models and finished photography.
