Design as Activism Lobby Exhibit

Thursday, Nov. 17th and Friday, Nov. 18th, student work from the interdisciplinary course Design as Activism will be displayed in the Cowgill Lobby. The course is led by Associate Professor Sharóne Tomer, Ph.D, and examines pressing social, economic, and environmental issues and proposes intervention and response through a design lens. Topics currently on display include human displacement, overconsumption of fast fashion, overlooked/neglected African American cemeteries, and more.
