This exhibit presents the work and experiences of the 3-week-long A+D Rome Program during Summer Session I 2019, led by Assistant Professor Joseph Bedford. The exhibition features sketches and films showcasing student experiences of exploring architectural history and theory in the eternal city. Students in the program explored the two-thousand-year history of architecture from the Ancient to the Early Christian, Medieval, Renaissance, Baroque, Romantic, Modern and Contemporary city as well as the recent half-century of architectural theory from Peter Eisenman and Robert Venturi to Peter Sloterdijk and Stan Allen.
To celebrate this exhibit, espresso and biscotti will be served on Monday from noon to 1pm in the lobby. Please join.
