Architecture & Robotics: New Modes of Practice & Pedagogy

Dr. Nathan King, Co-Director of the Center for Design Research, will speak at the University of Pennsylvania as part of a panel relating to new modes of practice and pedagogy enabled by the integration of robotics and automation technologies. The panel includes Winka Dubbeldam (chair of the Stuart Weitzman School of Design); Evangelos Kotsioris (Assistant Curator of the Museum of Modern Art (MoMa)) Billie Faircloth (Partner at KieranTimberlake), Jose-Luis García del Castillo y López (Harvard Graduate School of Design), Ezio Blasetti (Partner at Maeta Design), and Andrew Saunders (Director of the UPenn Master’s of Architecture program). Together with panel moderator Robert Stuart-Smith, (Founding program director), this group was part of  the launch of a new graduate program in UPenn’s Stuart Weitzman School of Design focusing on Robotics and Autonomous Systems graduating it’s first cohort in the Spring of 2020.
