Bauhaus-Inspired Fiber Art by Joanna Sunshine
The Art & Architecture Library will have on exhibit in their gallery Bauhaus-Inspired Fiber Art by Joanna Sunshine from January 13th – April 24th. This exhibit includes a collection of work ranging from a series of smaller geometric hand woven tapestries to a series of larger hand woven pieces composed of an interaction of disparate materials including roving – unspun fiber, lace and jewels.
“It has always been my intention to elevate the craft of weaving to fiber art. I believe in search, discovery, and experimentation thus the work evolves through the doing . . . always doing.” – Joanna Sunshine
